Am I allowed to bring medical supplies on the aircraft?
Medication for use during the flight are allowed in hand luggage provided a medical certificate. (for personal use only)
- If you need to keep medicines cool, bring a cooler bag or thermos. There is no refrigeration facility on board.
- Injection needles, portable electronic medical equipment (AEDs, oxygen concentrators, CPAP (sleep apnoea), dialysis machines, etc.) can be transported with a medical certificate and prior airline approval. There is no power supply on board, so these devices must be battery-powered. They are subject to international dangerous goods regulations, which are becoming increasingly strict.Always check the latest regulations to avoid items being refused at security or check-in.Submit the application in time using this contact button with all required documents.
- Medical overweight items can be allowed as carry-on baggage (10 kg) or in the baggage hold at no cost, subject to a medical certificate. For pets, free medical overweight is not allowed, even on the basis of a certificate.
