Travel safely with your trusted partner
In order to ensure that all travellers who fly with TUI fly are optimally prepared for the flight, we have summarise important information relating to your trip on this page. Please read all information carefully. The safety regulations below apply even if you have received a COVID-19 vaccine. We advise you to read this page again at least the day before your arrival, in case some of the information has changed in the meantime.
If you have booked a TUI flight + hotel holiday and TUI fly does not operate your flight, you should consult the website of the operating airline for more information about the corona measures.
Hand baggage underneath the seat
Only one personal item on board
You can check a carry-on suitcase or trolley weighing up to 10 kg and with maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm free of charge at the check-in desk or deliver it to the staff at the gate when boarding.
We also ask you to place your handbag, backpack or laptop bag weighing up to 10 kg and with maximum dimensions of 30 x 30 x 15 cm underneath the seat in front of you.
Attention! For safety reasons, you are not allowed to carry loose lithium batteries (e.g. power banks or spare batteries) in the baggage you check in. Please put them in the personal item you can take on board. This practical overview provides more information about the items you are or are not allowed to carry in our (carry-on) baggage.
A face mask during the flight
Wearing a face mask on TUI fly flights to and from Belgium is no longer mandatory, but we still strongly recommend it. Don't travel if you have symptoms of or have tested positive for COVID-19. If your flight is operated by an airline other than TUI fly or by one of our partners, you should check their website prior to your departure. Once you have arrived at your destination, the rules with respect to wearing face masks depend on the country. You can find more information about the measures at your destination here.
Hygiene and air quality on board
Our aircraft are equipped with HEPA filter, state-of-the-art air filters that clear the air of pathogens. Ventilation in the plane is very well regulated, limiting the spread of viruses. We have also taken extra hygiene measures on board to ensure that everything stays clean, and our cabin crew is well-trained.
During the flight
Service during the flight with TUI fly
The service on board will differ slightly from what you're used to. This way, contact between passengers and the cabin crew can be reduced to a minimum. We will ask you to remain seated during the entire flight, and give you instructions on how to make use of the toilets. At the start of the flight, our crew will clearly explain how things will go during the flight.
Service during flights to Europe and Northern Africa
On flights within Europe and to Northern Africa, you can still buy items from our TUI Café offer. However, the assortment will be smaller and you can only make contactless payments.
Service during the long haul flight
You will still receive free meals and snacks on long-distance flights. However, the times at which the meals and snacks will be offered will be different and the assortment may vary. You will still have the opportunity to purchase items from our limited TUI Café offer.
