1. In general
When checking in, each passenger (including children and babies) must be able to submit a valid official proof of identity with a photograph (passport or official national identity card), corresponding to the name mentioned in the booking file.
Each passenger must also be able to prove that he/she has accomplished the formalities for travel that are prescribed in his/her country of origin and that are prescribed by the immigration authorities and other public authorities of the country of the final destination booked with Tui Airlines Belgium NV, regardless of whether or not the flight is followed by a flight with another carrier.
All costs resulting from non-compliance with the regulations are to be paid by the traveller.

2. Belgian citizens
Documents required for clients who are Belgian nationals (subject to changes) for flights to :
Attention! Damaged travel documents, for example a passport or an identity card with a crack, or an electronic identity card with a missing microchip, may be considered as invalid by the competent Belgian or foreign authorities. The risk of being refused entry to the flight or the territory of the country of destination remains entirely with the travellers. Therefore we recommend that you have your damaged travel documents replaced before travelling.

• Spain, Portugal (incl. Madeira and Azores), Cyprus: Valid national ID card.
• Albania : Valid national ID card (valid 3 months after arrival date).

Children: For Belgian children younger than 12 years, a photo ID or a KIDS ID (more on www.eid.belgium.be) is accepted provided that the children are accompanied by at least one of the parents. In other cases an international passport (valid until 6 months beyond departure date) is necessary.

• Dominican Republic :
International passport (valid for the period of intended stay).
Tourist card available upon arrival, of 10 USD + 10 USD for the return flight (airport tax). Both are included in the TUI fly price. Upon arrival in the Dominican republic clients must always present a return ticket, with the exception of holders of re-entry permit.

Naturalized Belgians : international passport required (Belgian or of country of origin)
For stays longer than 30 days a visa is required (or prolongation of the tourist card for a maximum of 90 days at the 'Emigration dept.' in Dom. Rep. at an additional cost) and an extra airport tax needs to be paid at the immigration services (+/- € 50 > 30 days, € 80 > 3 months).

Import of dinars is forbidden, but most hotels offer the possibility to exchange euros for dinars. Many hotels also have cash dispensers.
• Morocco : international passport valid during period of stay. For stays longer than 90 days a visa is required
• Bulgaria : Valid national ID card. For stays longer than 90 days a visa is required
• Croatia : valid identity card (valid 3 months after returnflight). Upon arrival you receive a visa free of charge. If you want to visit Bosnia (e.g; Mostar & Medugorje), then an international passport valid until 6 months after return is required. for stays longer than 90 days a visa is required
• Cuba : international passport + a tourist card (approximately 17,36 euro, included in the TUI fly price). For stays longer than 30 days a visa is required or extension of the tourist card for an additional 30 days (to be extended locally at the hotel or by the local authorities). Visitor must hold ticket and all documents required for return journey. In general, it is strongly recommended to hold hotel voucher or booking for a min. stay of 2 days.
To enter Cuba with an international passport, you need to supply us with some extra information. After reservation you will receive an email from our call center, asking you to provide us with following data : full (official) name, birth date, nationality, international passport number and expiry date of the international passport.
NOTE: It is obligatory to take out a valid travel and legal assistance insurance with an insurance company directly connected with Asistur: 'Europ Assistance' is represented by Asistur.
If you have taken out a travel and legal assistance insurance with another insurance company, they will have to deliver you the required certificates
IMPORTANT: if you took out a legal assistance insurance with the company ‘Europ Assistance' via TUI fly when booking your trip, you should also present the certificate indicating that ‘Europ Assistance’ is represented by Asistur upon your arrival in Cuba. You can download this certificate via our web site, under ‘My TUI fly'.
You can also collect this form from our desk at the airport.
You have to present this document together with the ‘Jet Total Insurance’ voucher you will find in your travel documents; without a valid travel and legal assistance insurance taken out with ‘Europ Assistance', this certificate has no value.
Travellers who do not have a Belgian travel insurance covering medical expenses or are unable to present a certificate have the obligation to take out an insurance contract with a local company upon arrival at the airport in Cuba.

For a stay of more than 30 days a prolongation of the visa can be requested locally. (within the first fortnight upon arrival in Cabo Verde)
• UNITED STATES (USA)
International passport required, valid for the period of intended stay.

As from 21 January 2016, passengers in the possession of a Belgian passport who have been travelling to and from Syria, Iran, Iraq or Sudan since 2011 have the obligation to apply for a visa in advance via the American Embassy in Brussels. This also applies to Belgian passengers having a double nationality and whose 2nd nationality is that of one of the above-mentioned countries. • ZANZIBAR (TANZANIA)
international passport is required (at least six months longer than the validity of the visa) for adults and children and certificate yellow fever. You will also need a visa (valid for maximum 3 or 6 months), you can apply before your departure at the Tanzanian embassy in Brussels, on arrival in Tanzania at the airport or at the border.
